Bonsai Society of Australia - http://www.bonsai.asn.au/ Our meetings: as well as providing much information, are friendly and informal. Our lecturers and demonstrators are most qualified and their work is often seminar quality. We also encourage up and coming demonstrators. Our members bring bonsai for the bench display as part of a competition with voting done by popular choice. This competition is meant to be a form of education as upon viewing a bonsai one either approves or dislikes it. The voters have the guidelines and vote accordingly. Upon request we also provide assessments of the design and offer continued direction.
