The Morning Glory plate number 699 was first published on November 1, 1803 by John Sims in Volume 19 of
Curtis’s Botanical Magazine. Many Morning Glory Lovers create a matched set with the blue and purple plates.
Natural Selection’s lithograph reproduction of the Morning Glory was created from high resolution scans of the
original art and is printed on the finest paper to recreate the quality of the original copper engravings and hand
coloring. Each print is accompanied by a copy of the text from the original publication.
This species of the Morning Glory is also known as Egyptian Bind-weed and is native throughout tropical and
subtropical Africa and Asia.
